Terms of Service

Version 1.2.0 · Last updated 6/14/2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service govern your use of Mo-Nane's website and services. By creating an account or using Mo-Nane, you agree to these terms, our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Proof Standards, and Service Limitations.

2. The service

Mo-Nane connects clients with independent field operators for On-ground errands, lawful item pickup and delivery, and respondent-consented observation checks in Greater Accra. We provide software, coordination tools, and payment flows; individual errands are performed by independent operators, not by Mo-Nane as your agent for third-party outcomes.

One home office in Greater Accra, Ghana. No branch, liaison office, or representative office outside Ghana.

Supported activities include lawful item pickup and delivery between locations, respondent-consented project and operations checks, respondent-consented family and loved-one checks, and related on-ground tasks that Mo-Nane explicitly accepts.

Mo-Nane does not handle cash, informal money transfers, or mobile money movement on behalf of clients.

Mo-Nane does not guarantee that any third party (government office, bank, landlord, school, hospital, embassy, or private company) will grant access, approve a request, or produce a particular outcome.

3. What Mo-Nane is not

Mo-Nane is not a law firm, medical provider, financial adviser, real estate agency, immigration consultant, or emergency service.

We do not provide legal, medical, financial, registry, or immigration advice. We do not certify land titles, document authenticity, or government decisions.

Do not use Mo-Nane for emergencies. If you are in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.

4. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account.

You must be legally able to enter into a binding agreement. If you use Mo-Nane on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.

5. Acceptable use

You may not use Mo-Nane for unlawful, harassing, fraudulent, or harmful activities.

You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users' accounts, or data you are not permitted to view.

You may not upload malware, scrape our services in violation of technical limits, or misuse media or messaging features.

You may not request non-consensual surveillance, impersonation, or privacy-invasive tasks.

6. Client responsibilities

You must provide accurate instructions, locations, contact details, and deadlines.

You must have legal authority to request the errand and to share any documents, respondent details, or personal data you upload.

For item pickup and delivery, you are solely responsible for the item's authenticity, legality, ownership or right to transfer, declared value, condition before pickup, suitability for transport, and accuracy of pickup and drop-off details. Mo-Nane does not verify these unless a separate written proof scope is explicitly accepted.

For consented checks, you must ensure the respondent has agreed to participate and that you have authority to request the check. You must not use Mo-Nane for covert surveillance, harassment, coercion, or investigation.

You are responsible for securing your account, email, devices, and payment methods. Mo-Nane is not liable for losses arising from your negligence, weak passwords, shared logins, or compromised accounts, to the extent permitted by Ghana law.

You must not request operators to break the law, enter unsafe premises without authority, handle cash, move informal money, or perform regulated services outside published rules.

7. Operator safety and conduct

Clients must provide truthful instructions and must not request illegal or unsafe tasks.

Field operators must follow applicable laws and reasonable safety practices. Mo-Nane may suspend users who create safety risks or violate these terms.

8. Payments

Deposits and charges may be processed by our payment partner (Paystack). You authorize us and our payment partners to charge amounts associated with errands you confirm, subject to product rules and applicable fees.

Refunds and disputes are handled according to our Refund Policy and payment provider rules. See /legal/refund for eligibility and timelines.

9. Content and license

You retain rights to content you submit, but you grant Mo-Nane a license to host, process, and display that content as needed to operate the service (for example, showing errand details to assigned operators).

10. Disclaimers

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Proof reports reflect operator observations and submitted evidence. They are not government certifications or guarantees of third-party accuracy.

Mo-Nane does not guarantee that picked-up items are genuine, undamaged, complete, or fit for purpose, or that a respondent's statements are true, or that a loved one remains safe after a check.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mo-Nane and its affiliates will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill.

Mo-Nane is not liable for delays or failures caused by public offices, private institutions, traffic, weather, strikes, network outages, payment providers, inaccurate instructions you provide, inaccessible locations, third-party refusal to cooperate, refusal to release or receive items, respondent refusal to participate, or misrepresented items.

Our aggregate liability arising out of these terms or the service will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid to Mo-Nane in the three months before the claim or fifty US dollars (USD), except where liability cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Mo-Nane from claims arising out of your misuse of the service, your violation of these terms, your lack of authority for an errand, or your violation of others' rights—subject to applicable law.

13. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, legal requirements, or risk to users or the service.

You may close your account using the in-app deletion flow, subject to our Privacy Policy and any legal retention obligations.

14. Dispute resolution

These terms are governed by the laws of Ghana, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, except where mandatory consumer protections in your jurisdiction apply.

You agree to contact us in good faith before initiating formal proceedings where required by law.

Disputes that cannot be resolved informally may be submitted to the courts of Ghana, unless mandatory law requires otherwise.
